Spodus vs QuickBooks

Invoicing that knows who you sold to.

QuickBooks is a great ledger, and an island. Spodus puts invoicing on the same records as your CRM and support, so a closed deal becomes an invoice with nothing to sync.

QuickBooks does one job. Spodus does five.

Everything you'd bolt onto QuickBooks, and pay for separately, is already in one Spodus seat.

QuickBooks

The finance tool

  • A separate subscription, disconnected from where the sale happened.
  • Export and re-key, or wire up a paid connector to move deals into invoices.
  • Finance-only, so sales and support can't see what's paid.
  • Per-seat tiers and add-ons for payroll, time, and more.

The whole suite, one seat

  • Included in one seat, no extra bill for billing.
  • Invoices raised from deals automatically, on the same customer.
  • Shared visibility, everyone sees paid, due, and overdue.
  • HR, CRM, and support in the same price, not add-ons.

Why teams switch.

Invoices that write themselves

Win a deal in the CRM and the invoice is drafted on the same customer, no export, no connector, no double entry.

Everyone sees payment status

Support and sales see paid, due, and overdue without pinging finance. QuickBooks keeps that behind its own login.

One suite, not a finance silo

Run the CRM, help desk, and HR that surround your invoicing in the same place, for the same per-seat price.

You're paying for a silo.

QuickBooks starts around $35/mo for finance alone, then you still pay for a CRM, a help desk, and an inbox. Spodus is one flat price from $39 a month with all of them included and connected.

Being fair about it.

Where QuickBooks fits better: if you need deep, accountant-grade bookkeeping, full double-entry ledgers, tax filing, and an ecosystem your accountant already lives in, QuickBooks goes deeper on pure accounting. Spodus covers day-to-day invoicing, payments, and reconciliation tied to the rest of your business.

Questions, answered.

Is Spodus a full replacement for QuickBooks?
It handles estimates, invoices, bills, payments, and reconciliation on one ledger tied to your customers. For deep tax filing you can still export, but most teams run day to day on Spodus.
Can I import my invoices and customers?
Yes. Bring customers and open invoices in by CSV; they attach to the matching CRM records so finance and sales share one view.
How do payments work?
You record a payment against an invoice and the balance, status and customer history update together. Taking card payments online is not built yet.
