Finance · part of the Spodus suite
Invoicing software, from quote to paid.
Spodus Finance is online invoicing software for small businesses. Build an estimate, turn it into an invoice, send it, and record the payment when it arrives, all on the customer record the deal came from. Recurring invoices raise themselves on the day they are due. It is not an accounting tool: there is no bank feed and no ledger.
Billing software for small business, in the order it happens.
Raise the document, record what came back, and read where you stand, on the customer record. Invoicing for small business, without an accounting package.
01
Online invoicing: raise it, and the next one raises itself.
Spodus is online invoicing software: cloud billing software you open in a browser. A digital invoice is a page you send a link to, not a file you attach. A document starts from a quote, a won deal or a blank line. A monthly invoice does not need starting at all: the recurring schedule drafts it on the day it is due, whether or not anyone is signed in; you check it and send it.
- Estimates & invoices. Build, send and track estimates, and convert one to an invoice in a click: an itemized invoice with invoice numbers in sequence and a tax rate per line.
- Recurring invoices. Bill on a schedule — templates draft their own invoices on the day they are due, whether or not anyone is signed in; you check and send.
02
Record what came in, and what went back.
Spodus never touches the money. It holds what a customer owes, what they have paid, and what you have credited back. The balance on the record is the balance you would read them over the phone. A past due invoice shows as past due; nobody is chased for you.
- Payments. Record an invoice payment when it arrives; the balance, status and customer history update together.
- Credit notes. Issue a credit against an invoice and see the customer's balance reopen correctly when you reverse it.
03
See where the money actually is.
What you owe and what you are owed, read off the invoices and bills themselves, not off an export somebody took on Tuesday. Receivables aging shows which invoice is due and how long it has been due.
- Bills & expenses. Record what you owe, schedule payments, and see your cash position at a glance.
- Reports. Revenue, receivables aging, expenses and a customer statement, without exporting to a spreadsheet.
One connected system
Invoicing, tied to the work.
A CRM with invoicing built in means every invoice knows the deal that created it and the customer who owes it. It is an online invoice system for small business, and Finance stops being the product nobody else can see into.
- Invoices link to the CRM deal and customer automatically.
- Support sees payment status on every ticket, without asking finance.
- Win a deal in CRM, convert it, and the invoice opens here with the client and the amount already on it.
Finance stands on the same platform as the other four.
