Recruiting
CRM for staffing and recruiting.
A CRM for staffing holds clients and candidates in pipelines you configure, with the fee invoiced the day a placement lands.
The placement is in one tool.
A CRM for clients, a spreadsheet for candidates, an invoicing tool that has heard of neither. Billing finds out a week later.

A week on a desk, and what carries each part of it.
Brief to placement to fee, on boards you built, with the invoice on the client the role belongs to.

He's on the enterprise order too. Can we sort it before the call at 2?
Invoicing
The terms
The fee goes out as an estimate.

Support
The client's asks
A portal where a client raises a request and follows it by link, without a consultant's inbox standing in the middle.
#2231 · SSO sign-in fails for new seats
Hi Bruno — the SSO domain wasn't verified for the new seats. I've verified it, so all three can sign in now — reply here if it recurs.

The consultants
Your own team: onboarding, documents, the org chart and time off, on the system their desks already run on.

What stops happening.
01 — stops
The candidate spreadsheet
Candidates are records with stages, custom fields and an owner, so a role does not depend on who currently has the file open.
02 — stops
Telling finance it happened
The fee is agreed on the deal and the invoice is raised on the same client, so a placement and a bill are one movement rather than two.
03 — stops
The handover briefing
Every note and every next step is on the candidate, so a colleague can cover a desk without half an hour of being caught up.
04 — stops
Two lists disagreeing
The client, the role and the fee are the same records, so nobody has to work out which of the two spreadsheets is the current one.
Automations
What runs without anyone.
When a record changes, create the next record or send the email.
A date you set on a role arrives
the chase you wrote goes out, so the client hears from you on the day you promised rather than the day you remembered.
A retained instalment comes round
the recurring template raises that invoice as a draft on the day it is due, whether or not anyone signed in; you check it and send it.
A client raises a request in the portal
it opens as a tracked request with an owner and a response target, and they get a link to follow it.
Questions staffing and recruiting firms ask.
Not answered here? Ask on your own data, in a demo.
Get a demoIs this an applicant tracking system?
It is a pipeline you configure, not a parser. There is no resume parsing and no job-board posting. What you get is custom stages, custom fields, drag-and-drop and automations, which is a real candidate pipeline if you are running one on a spreadsheet today. It replaces the CRM, the invoicing tool and the shared inbox around your sourcing.
How is it priced for a recruiting firm?
Per seat, per month, for the people on your desk who sign in: one flat rate at any team size, and never per module. Every paid plan starts at a five-seat minimum, and your clients in the support portal are free and never count. Ask for a demo and we will quote it. Every plan carries all five products.
Can we bring our clients and candidates across?
Yes. Bring contacts, companies and deals in by CSV or a guided import; your stages and custom fields map across, so nothing is lost on the way in. Candidates come in as contacts with whatever columns your spreadsheet had, and those columns become fields you can filter and sort on.
Where do CVs and documents live?
Attached to the record they belong to, on the candidate or the client, with the notes and the history. They are stored files, not parsed ones: Spodus keeps the document and shows it to whoever opens the record, it does not read it into fields for you. Custom fields hold whatever you want to search on.
Do we have to move everything at once?
No. Contacts, companies and tasks are there from the first minute; invoicing, the portal and the HR side switch on when you want them. Turning one on later brings back its screens with whatever is already in them. Start with the candidate board. Switch invoicing on at the first placement.
