Spodus vs ClickUp
One app for the work, or one app for the business.
ClickUp consolidates tasks, docs, whiteboards and time tracking. Spodus consolidates the CRM, the invoicing, the HR, the help desk and the inbox. Both replace a stack; they replace different stacks.
ClickUp replaces your work apps. Spodus replaces your business apps.
Both say one app instead of many. The difference is which many: docs, whiteboards and time tracking on one side, a CRM, a ledger, a help desk and HR on the other.
ClickUp
One app for work
- $7 per user a month on Unlimited, $12 on Business, billed annually.
- AI is a separate add-on, from about $7.20 per user a month on top of the seat.
- Work management, not business functions: no pipeline with forecasting, no ledger, no SLA queue.
- Every teammate is a seat, and the AI add-on is per seat again.
Spodus
The whole suite, one seat
- From $29 a month flat, for up to 10 people, not per user.
- Nothing priced as an add-on. Every product is in every plan.
- Finished business products: a real pipeline, ledger, ticket queue and org chart.
- One customer record carrying the deal, the invoice and the ticket together.

Why teams switch.
Products, not lists configured to look like them
ClickUp will hold a list called Deals. It will not forecast, raise the invoice when one closes, or run an SLA clock on the ticket that follows.
Nothing sold as an add-on
ClickUp prices AI separately per user on top of the seat. Every Spodus product is in every plan, and the plan is flat.
The business functions, not the work about them
Invoicing, a ticket queue with SLAs, an HR record and a shared inbox are not ClickUp features at any tier.
Cheap per seat, then the add-on.
ClickUp Unlimited is $7 per user a month billed annually, so ten people is $70, or $120 on Business, and AI is a further add-on from about $7.20 per user. None of it invoices a customer, answers a ticket or holds an employee record. Spodus is $29 a month flat for up to ten people with all of those included.
Being fair about it.
Where ClickUp fits better: at managing work it is far ahead of us. Docs, whiteboards, time tracking, goals and the depth of its task hierarchy are all things Spodus does not have, and time tracking in particular is absent entirely, with no timesheets and no billable hours anywhere in the product. If your team runs on project delivery and tracked time, ClickUp is the better tool. Spodus is for the business functions those projects surround.
