Spodus vs Front
The best shared inbox is still only a shared inbox.
Front does one job extremely well. Spodus does that job alongside a CRM, a ledger, a help desk and HR, on the same customer record, for one flat price.
Front does one job. Spodus does five.
Everything you'd bolt onto Front, and pay for separately, is already in one Spodus seat.
Front
The shared inbox tool
- $25 per seat a month on Starter, $65 on Professional, $105 on Enterprise, billed annually.
- Seat ceilings per tier: Starter stops at 10 seats and Professional at 50, so growth means a tier jump.
- The conversation, not the customer. The deal, the invoice and the ticket live in other tools.
- Every teammate is a seat, so ten people on Starter is $250 a month for an inbox.
Spodus
The whole suite, one seat
- From $29 a month flat, for up to 10 people, with the inbox included.
- No ceiling to bump into. Plans step by team size and keep every product.
- The conversation sits on the customer, next to their deals, invoices and tickets.
- Four more products in the same price: CRM, finance, HR and a help desk.

Why teams switch.
The email lands on the customer
A message arrives beside the deal it concerns, the invoice that is overdue and the ticket still open. In Front it arrives beside other messages.
No tier ceiling to hit
Front's Starter stops at ten seats and Professional at fifty. Spodus plans step by team size and never take a product away.
$250 for an inbox, or $29 for five products
Ten seats on Front Starter is $250 a month and gives you email. Ten people on Spodus is $29 and gives you email plus four more products.
Two hundred and fifty dollars of email.
Front Starter is $25 per seat a month billed annually, so ten people is $250 before any CRM, invoicing, help desk or HR exists. Spodus is $29 a month flat for up to ten people, and the shared inbox is one of the five products in it.
Being fair about it.
Where Front fits better: as an inbox it is deeper than ours, and not by a little. Its rules engine, workflow automation, analytics and integration library are built by a team that does nothing else, and if triaging high volumes of shared email is the core of your business, Front is the better inbox. Spodus gives you a good shared inbox attached to four other products, which is a different trade.
