Spodus vs Scoro
No five-seat floor to clear.
Scoro is a capable suite for agencies that bill by tracked time, and every plan it sells starts at five users. Spodus is CRM, invoicing, support, people and inbox on one record, from one seat up.
Scoro starts at five seats. Spodus starts at one.
Every Scoro plan carries a five-user minimum, so a team of two pays for five. Spodus has no floor: one person is one seat, and the rate is the same at one as at a hundred.
Scoro
Work management, five-seat floor
- A five-user minimum on every plan, so a team of two pays for five seats.
- Four tiers to climb, with the top one quoted rather than published.
- Built around tracked time, which is powerful if you bill that way and overhead if you do not.
- Priced per user, with the rate stepping up as you move tier.
Spodus
The whole suite, one seat
- No seat minimum at all, so a team of two pays for two seats.
- One rate per plan, $7 a user a month billed annually, the same at any size.
- Built around the client record, with the deal, the invoice and the ticket on one timeline.
- Five products in that seat, and portal customers never count as one.

Why teams switch.
The floor disappears
Scoro's five-user minimum means a two-person studio buys five seats and uses two. Spodus bills the people you give an account, from one.
Support and HR come with it
A help desk with a customer portal, a shared inbox and the people side are in the same seat, where Scoro leaves all three to other tools.
The rate stops moving
One rate per plan at every team size, so growing past a threshold does not reprice the seats you already had.
Five seats, whether or not you have five people.
The seat floor is the part small teams feel: below five people you are buying capacity you cannot use, every month, on every tier. Spodus has no minimum and one rate per plan, so two people is two seats and the hundredth seat costs what the first did.
Being fair about it.
Where Scoro fits better, and it is a wide gap: billing by tracked time. Timesheets, utilisation, resource and capacity planning, retainer management and profitability reporting are the centre of Scoro and none of them exist in Spodus at any plan. There is no time tracking here at all, so there is no way to answer what a client cost you to serve. Scoro also has a longer track record with agencies of forty and up. If your business runs on hours against budgets, Scoro is built for that question and we are not.
