Go-live checklist
Work through the Get set up card on Home, then check the workspace, data, people, email and modules before your team starts using Spodus.
Home shows a Get set up card under the Ask box until your first steps are done. Finish it, then check the list below before you ask your team to start.
The Get set up card
The card shows how many steps are done, such as 2 of 5. Click an open step to do it.
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create your workspace | Done when you sign up. |
| Connect email and calendar | Opens Settings > Accounts. See Connect your email. |
| Import your contacts | Opens the import. Done once you have a contact or company. |
| Add your first deal | Opens a new deal in the side panel. |
| Invite a teammate | Opens the invite form. See Invite your team. |
If Deals is turned off, the fourth step is Create your first project, or Add your first task if Projects is off too.
While the workspace is empty, the deal step also offers or try it with sample data. Sample records don't tick any step. See Sample data.
The card goes away when every step is done. To close it early, click the × on the card. To bring it back, click Help in the page bar, then Getting started.
