Import and dataUpdated
Export to CSV
Download the records in any view as a CSV file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, or export only the rows you tick.
Any list in Spodus can be downloaded as a CSV file. The file holds the records the view shows, after its filters and search.
Things to know
- The file has a column for each of the board's fields, including ones hidden in the view. Fields Spodus fills in itself, such as Created by and Last update, are left out.
- The file is named after the board, for example contacts.csv.
- A value that starts with =, +, - or @ gets an apostrophe in front, so a spreadsheet doesn't treat it as a formula.
- The same file can be brought back in with Import a spreadsheet.
- To export everything in your workspace at once, see Export and delete your data.
Export a view
- Open the board, for example Contacts.
- Pick the view you want, and filter or search it if you need to.
- Click the arrow beside the New contact button (Import or export), then click Export CSV.
The file downloads straight away.
Export only some rows
- In a table, tick the rows you want.
- In the bar at the bottom of the page, click Export.
The file is named after the board with "-selection" added, for example contacts-selection.csv.
