Leave a workspace
Leave a workspace you no longer work in, or delete your Spodus account for good, and what to do first if you're a workspace's only owner.
Leave a workspace when you no longer work in it. Delete your account when you want to stop using Spodus altogether.
Before you start
- If you're the only owner of a workspace, you can't leave it or delete your account yet. First make someone else an owner in Settings > Members, or delete the workspace in Settings > Data & privacy. See Roles & permissions.
Leave a workspace
- Open the workspace you want to leave.
- Go to Settings > Profile.
- Under Danger zone, click Leave workspace.
- Click Leave workspace to confirm.
You lose access to that workspace. Nothing in it is deleted, and the records, notes and files you created stay with the workspace. Your account is not affected, and an owner or admin can invite you back.
Delete your account
- Go to Settings > Profile.
- Under Danger zone, click Delete account.
- Type your email address.
- Click Email me a confirmation link.
- Open the email and click the link.
Your account is deleted only when you click the link. Nothing is removed before then. Deleting your account removes you from every workspace you belong to, but the workspaces themselves stay.
