Custom boards
Create your own board for anything Spodus doesn't track yet, change its name, icon and color, and archive or delete it when you're done.
A custom board holds anything your team tracks that Spodus doesn't have a board for, like creative requests or equipment. It works like any other board, with its own fields and views.
Before you start
- To create a board, you need to be an owner or admin, or hold a role with the Data Model setting.
Things to know
- The Free plan allows 1 custom board. Starter allows 5 and Growth allows 25.
- Archived boards still count toward that limit. Delete a board to free its place.
- If you're at your limit, you can still edit or remove the boards you have.
Create a board
- Go to Settings > Data model.
- Click New board.
- Type a name and pick an icon.
- Click Create board.
- Add fields to it on its Fields tab. See Custom fields.
Change a board's name, icon or color
- Go to Settings > Data model and click the board.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Under About, change the Singular and Plural names, the Description, the Icon or the Color.
- Click Save.
You can also open the menu on the board's row in the CRM sidebar to Rename it, Change icon or pick a color.
Archive a board
- In the CRM sidebar, open the menu on the board's row.
- Click Archive board.
An archived board is hidden from the workspace, and every record is kept. To bring it back, go to Settings > Data model, find it under Archived and click Restore.
Delete a board
- In the CRM sidebar, open the menu on the board's row.
- Click Delete board, then confirm.
You can also click the board in Settings > Data model, go to its Settings tab and click Delete object under Danger zone. Deleting a board deletes all its records and can't be undone.
