Invoice design
Choose how your invoices, quotes and credit notes look: logo, brand colour, layout, font, what shows, status stamps, payment details and footer.
Your branding decides how quotes, invoices and credit notes look to clients: in the PDF, on the link they open, and in the email. You set it once in Revenue settings, with a live preview beside the controls.
Things to know
- Changes save as you make them.
- Only admins can upload or change the logo.
- The preview shows your latest sent invoice. Until you have one, it shows an example invoice, labelled as one.
Open the branding settings
Go to Revenue > Overview, click the gear, and stay on the General tab. The branding sections sit under Branding, and the preview is beside them on a wide screen.
Add your logo
- Under Logo, click Upload logo.
- Pick a PNG, JPEG or WebP file up to 1 MB.
- Set its Size (Small, Medium or Large) and Position (Left or Right).
To swap it, click Change logo. To take it off, click Remove.
Pick the look
Under Look:
- Layout: Classic, Modern or Minimal.
- Font: Sans, Serif or Mono numbers.
- Brand color: pick a swatch or type a hex code. It colours the title, the table and total lines, and the client's Download button.
Choose what shows
Under What shows, turn each item on or off:
- Tax ID
- Company address
- Client's contact person
- Quantity column. Off, lines show only the description and amount.
Status stamps
Under Status stamp, choose which statuses are stamped on a document: Paid, Partially paid, Overdue and Void. To see a stamp before any invoice has one, use Show as above the preview. It changes the preview only.
Payment details and footer
Under Text:
- Payment details prints on invoices in its own block. Put your bank details or how you'd like to be paid.
- Footer note prints at the bottom of every document.
