What your client sees
A tour of the client portal: Home, invoices and quotes, contracts, projects and support, and what clients can do on each page.
Once signed in, your client sees a portal with your logo or name at the top, and five places: Home, Invoices & quotes, Contracts, Projects and Support. Everything they see belongs to their own company.
Home
- A greeting and, when they owe money, You owe with the total.
- Waiting on you: invoices to pay with their due dates, quotes to answer with their valid-until dates, contracts to sign and milestones to approve. Each row opens the item.
- Your projects: each project with what is next.
- Recent: what happened lately.
Invoices & quotes
Every invoice, quote and credit note you've sent them, with its number, type, issue date, due date, balance and status. Drafts and void documents never show.
- An invoice or credit note opens as a page they can read and download as a PDF. They can't pay online.
- A quote opens in the portal. While it is waiting and still valid, they can click Accept quote (typing their name and ticking I accept this quote) or Decline, with an optional reason.
Contracts
Their company's contracts, once they leave draft. A contract shows its terms in plain words. One waiting for a signature has Sign contract. See Contracts in the portal.
Projects
Each project with its progress and next milestone. A project's page shows its dates, progress and milestones in order. A milestone you've asked them to approve has Approve and Ask for changes. See Milestone approvals.
They never see hours, costs or budgets.
Support
Their support requests, with New request to raise one. Requests open in your help portal. See Your help portal.
What they never see
Drafts, internal notes, tasks, costs and other clients.
