Log calls and meetings
Record a call or a meeting on a contact, company or deal, so the whole team can see what was said and when you last spoke to the client.
When you talk to a client away from Spodus, log it on their record. The call or meeting joins the record's history, next to its emails and notes.
Things to know
- Spodus calls a meeting an event. You log one with Log event.
- A logged call or event counts as a touch. The record's Last touch shows how long it's been.
- You log from a record's full page. The side panel can't log a call.
- If your workspace has a phone provider connected, calls made through it are logged for you. See Call from Spodus.
Log a call or a meeting
- Open the contact, company or deal and click Open full page.
- Click the Activity tab.
- Above the timeline, click Log call or Log event.
- Write what happened. The box asks What was said on the call? or What happened at the event?
- Click Log call or Log event under the box, or press ⌘↩ (Ctrl+Enter on Windows).
The entry appears at the top of the timeline with your name and the time. To start over, click Clear.
See past calls and meetings
The Activity tab lists every call, event, note, email and change on the record, newest first. The Overview tab shows the latest few in its Activity section.
Plan a meeting instead
To book a meeting that hasn't happened yet, create an event in the calendar. See Create events.
