Spaces and boards

A space groups boards that belong together, such as the boards for one team or one client. Spaces show as sections in the CRM sidebar.

Things to know

• The CRM sidebar starts with one space. It lists the built-in boards under Records and your own boards under Boards.
• Any member can create, rename and delete spaces. There's no limit on how many.
• Deleting a space keeps its boards. They move back to the first space.
• A space can't hold another space.
• The number of custom boards depends on your plan: Free allows 1, Starter 5 and Growth 25. See Custom boards.

Create a space

1. Click CRM on the rail.
2. Click + (New board or space) at the top of the sidebar.
3. Click Space.
4. Type a name, for example "Marketing", and click Create space.

Move a board into a space

Drag the board in the sidebar into the space. Or:

1. Hover over the board in the sidebar and click its ⋯.
2. Click Move to space and pick the space.

Add a new board to a space

1. Hover over the space's name and click its ⋯.
2. Click New board here.

Change a space

Click the ⋯ on the space for:

• Rename.
• Collapse all spaces, to fold every space in the sidebar.
• Delete space.
