TeamUpdated
Teams
Group your people into teams, give each a lead and goals, post a status update, and see what each team is working on this week.
A team groups the people who work together, with a lead, goals and its own page. Your teams are listed in the Team sidebar.
Things to know
- A person can be in more than one team.
- Being in a team on its page doesn't give anyone access to a module. To give a team access to Support, Revenue or another module, use Settings > Team access. See Team access.
- Support's routing sends tickets to the people who hold a team's access. See Routing rules.
Create a team
- Go to Team > Teams.
- Click New team.
- Type a Name. Pick a Lead, the Members and an Icon if you like.
- Click Create.
The Teams page shows each team as a card. Above the cards you see how many teams you have, how their goals are doing, who is Not in a team, and the hours logged this week.
Manage a team
Open a team from the Teams page or the sidebar. On its page you can:
- Click Add lead to set the lead, or click the lead to change them.
- Click Add people to add members. To take someone out, open the People tab, click ⋯ on their card and choose Remove from team.
- Click the name's pencil to rename the team, and the line under it to add a description.
- Click New goal to set a goal for the team. See Set a goal.
- Click More (⋯) and choose Delete team… to delete it.
Post an update
On the team's Overview, under Update, click Write the first update or Post update. Pick the team's health, On track, At risk or Off track, and say what's happening.
The Overview also shows the team's hours this week, who is out, what's coming up and its people.
See the team's workload
Open the team's Workload tab to see its open work. Click Utilization and planning to open the team's view in Team > Workload. See Workload.
