Revenue overview
Read the Revenue overview: your next billing day, overdue and outstanding money, what you collected this month, and the list of what needs you.
The Revenue overview is the first page under Revenue. It shows what you are owed, what came in, and what is waiting on you.
Open it
Click Revenue on the rail, then Overview in the sidebar. The top row has New invoice and the gear that opens Revenue settings.
The four numbers
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Next billing day | The next day your clients' work is gathered into draft invoices. Not set until an admin picks a billing day. Click it to open Revenue settings. |
| Overdue | Money on invoices past their due date, how many, and how many days late the oldest is. Click it to see those invoices. |
| Collected this month | Payments recorded this calendar month, with last month's figure under it. Click it to open Payments. |
| Outstanding | Money still owed on every sent invoice, and how many are open. Click it to see them. |
Draft and void invoices are left out. Amounts in other currencies are converted to your base currency. A card with nothing to show says why, such as No invoices yet.
Needs you
This list shows what to do next. Each row opens the right list:
- Choose your billing day, while none is set and you have active contracts.
- Overdue invoices, with the amount.
- Drafts to review: draft invoices waiting for you to check and send.
- Quotes waiting on the client: quotes you sent that have no answer yet.
When there is nothing to do, it says Nothing needs you right now.
The charts
- Collected vs invoiced compares money invoiced with money collected over time. Switch between 30 days, 90 days and All on the chart.
- Outstanding by client shows who owes you the most.
