Share a mailbox
Let teammates send sequences from your mailbox, set the mailbox's daily sending limit and signature, and resume sending if Spodus paused it.
Sequences send from a person's own mailbox. You can let teammates send sequences from yours, and set how many emails it sends a day.
Before you start
- Sequences are on the Starter and Growth plans.
- Connect your mailbox first. See Connect your email.
- Only the mailbox's owner can change these settings.
Things to know
- Each mailbox sends up to 50 sequence emails a day unless you change it. The highest limit is 150.
- The limit counts every sequence email from the mailbox, whoever enrolled the people. The day resets at midnight UTC.
- A teammate you add can pick your mailbox under Send from when they enroll people.
- Shared inboxes can't send sequences. Only a person's own mailbox can.
- If too many emails from a mailbox bounce, Spodus pauses sequence sending from it.
Open a mailbox's sequence settings
- Open Settings from your account menu and click Accounts.
- Click your mailbox.
- Click the Sequences row. The Sequence settings panel opens.
You can also go to More > Sequences > Sequence settings > Mailboxes and click Daily limits and signatures to go to Accounts.
Let teammates send from it
- Under Let teammates send sequences from this mailbox, pick a person from Add a teammate.
- Click Save.
To take someone off, click Remove next to their name and click Save.
Set the daily limit and signature
- Change Daily sending limit to a number from 1 to 150. The line under it shows how many it has sent today.
- Type a Signature. It goes at the end of every sequence email from this mailbox when Include my signature is on.
- Click Save.
Resume a paused mailbox
When sending is paused, the panel says Sending is paused and why. Click Resume sending once you have fixed the cause. Until then, sequences don't send from this mailbox.
