AutomationsUpdated
Run history
See each run of an automation, step by step, find the automations whose last run failed, and start a manual automation now with Run.
Every time an automation runs, Spodus keeps a record of the run and of what each step did. Use it to check that an automation works, and to find out why one failed.
Things to know
- Each automation keeps its newest 25 runs.
- A run is Completed, Failed, or Waiting when a Wait step has paused it.
- Test runs show in the history too.
See an automation's runs
- Go to More > Automations and open the automation.
- Click Runs at the top. The number beside it is how many runs are kept.
- Each row shows the Status, the Record that started the run, the Version that ran, and When.
- Click a run to open it. Its steps are drawn in order, each with its result.
- Click a step to see its Output: what it did, or why it failed or was skipped.
Click the back arrow to return to the list of runs.
Find failed automations
- On the Automations list, the Last failed run column shows when each automation last failed. It is red while the latest run is the failed one.
- In the sidebar, Failing lists every automation whose last run failed. It shows only while there is one.
- Sort the list by Last failed run with Sorted by.
To be told when a run fails, see Automation settings.
Run an automation now
Only automations that start with Launch manually can be run on demand. The automation must be live.
- Open the automation.
- Click Run at the top.
You can also click the row's ⋯ on the Automations list and choose Run now.
The run shows on the Runs tab.
